Because there is no fall damage in many Bloxd io modes (the void is the only real danger), the most important skill is the "block clutch." If you are falling into the void, you have approximately 0.3 seconds to place a block beneath your feet. Practice this by jumping off your island in a private match and trying to place a block under you. Advanced players can do this repeatedly to "bridge" instantly.
