John and Jane Smith are a bored, upper-middle-class suburban couple whose marriage has gone stale. Unbeknownst to each other, both are elite assassins working for competing covert agencies. Their domestic facade shatters when they are assigned to eliminate the same target, subsequently discovering each other's secret identities.
