At first, the changes seemed beneficial. Pip's flute playing became more enchanting than ever, drawing in animals from far and wide. His melodies could now heal the sick, make the plants bloom instantaneously, and even lure the stars to twinkle in harmony with his tunes. However, with these powers came unpredictability. Pip would often find himself playing melodies that weren't his own, as if an invisible force was guiding his fingers.
They would call that child blessed or cursed, depending on the weather. Puck would be elsewhere, glad and small and passing through hedgerows, because he had become both host and escape, parasite and puckish spark. The village kept its bargains, kept its hush. They counted gains and losses with the same careful hands they used to mend shoes. Because the Puck is just the delivery vehicle
Crafted by SFX artist Alex Moon, utilizing heavy layers of practical slime, prosthetic veins, and physical cocoons.
In the quaint town of Neverland, nestled between the whispering woods and the shimmering shores of a tranquil lake, there lived a little puck named Pip. Pip was not just any ordinary puck; he was known throughout the land for his spirited nature and his extraordinary talent in playing the most enchanting melodies on his tiny flute. However, Pip's life took a dramatic turn one fateful evening, under the glow of a full moon. : Little Puck (as Miss Vale/The Parasite Queen)
They tried to burn it. They tried to drown it. They bound Puck in iron rings, sealed him in a cedar chest, and floated him out into the river. The parasite did not rage; it irrigated. It coaxed the reeds to curl, the river to carry them to a shore where the soil remembered old promises. People who touched Puck’s fur afterward felt lighter, then hollowed—repaired at the cost of having a voice too small for wanting.
Visually tethers the character transformation to real-world predatory insect behavior.
